As the first week of the year draws to a close, I have much to report.
I don’t really do New Year’s resolutions. When I’m being really honest with myself, I know that I’ll fall off the resolution train just a couple weeks into the year. Anytime thereafter when I think of what grand hopes I had for new habits and a new me, I’ll end up feeling bad about not sticking with it, and I’ll resolve to never make a resolution again. For me, there’s some kind of mental block on making resolutions stick when they’re tied to the new year.
